As I wrap my time up in Congress, I believe it is incredibly important that YOU understand all the work we have been able to get done on behalf of Georgia's 14th District over the last 5 years.

I have worked tirelessly to fight for the America First agenda in Washington as well as working everyday to make sure that Northwest Georgia receives the representation it deserves.

My team has worked everyday to ensure that thousands of my constituents are able to receive proper assistance with various federal agencies across the board. Whether it be with Veterans Affairs, Social Security, SNAP, or any other government program, my district office has served as an advocate for Northwest Georgia.

Keep reading to see just a small part of ALL the work we've had the privilege of doing for Northwest Georgia.

What We've Accomplished

As a Member of Congress, I have delivered more than $28 million in critical community project funding for Northwest Georgia. These investments strengthen our infrastructure, improve public safety, and support long-term growth.

One of the most significant achievements is the Richard B. Russell Airport Expansion Project, which secured over $3.8 million for a new taxiway to accommodate increased aviation needs and future economic development.

We were able to secure more than $1.2 million for the Lookout Mountain Cloudland Fire and Emergency Center, a vital public safety facility along Highway 157 designed to reduce emergency response times in our community.

We also worked to designate the federal building and United States Courthouse in Rome as the Harold L. Murphy Federal Building and United States Courthouse, a tribute to Judge Harold Murphy, who dedicated his life to serving the American people.

In Congress, I have fought to advance legislation that puts Americans first. That includes the Special Interest Alien Reporting Act of 2025, which requires the Department of Homeland Security to publish monthly reports detailing the number, nationalities, and encounter locations of individuals stopped at our border. Protecting American communities and GA-14 has been my top priority since beginning my time in Congress.

I have also worked to make sure Americans see the legislation they want in Congress. I authored the Gulf of America Act, which passed in the House redesignating the former Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.

At the same time, I have never hesitated to confront those who betray their duty to the American people. I led the charge to impeach former Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for high crimes and misdemeanors related to the border crisis. Senate Democrats betrayed Americans by refusing to hold impeachment hearings to hold the former secretary accountable for violating his oath of office to protect the American people.

I also had the privilege of serving as Chairwoman of the DOGE Subcommittee on the Oversight Committee. We led investigations and held hearings to uncover waste, fraud, and abuse across numerous federal agencies, including USAID, PBS, and NPR, to name a few. We also supported efforts to keep men out of women's sports. The subcommittee held a hearing investigating the roughly 200 biological males competing in the USA Fencing women’s division.

Our work also included a more than six-month long investigation into Planned

Parenthood’s murder of unborn babies.

Americans deserve a government that spends their hard-earned tax dollars responsibly. I hope to see the work of cutting waste and strengthening accountability continuing long after this administration.

I had the opportunity of working with Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna in the push to release the Epstein files. I was one of only four Republicans to sign the discharge petition for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which forced a vote on the House floor.

I have always stood firmly with survivors of sexual abuse, and this was no exception. Because of our efforts, the bill passed both chambers of Congress and was signed into law by the President. We stood with women and victims, and we delivered the transparency the American people deserve.
