Hi, John! It's December 15, and we hope you’re finding 🌟joy🌟 in this holiday season.
Last week was busy: we officially added the 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th candidate to our Democratic slate for 2026 [[link removed]] , we set the date for a Special Election in February [[link removed]] , we registered new Democrats to vote in swing districts, and we added more D.E.M.Club [[link removed]] members to our roll of monthly contributors.
🗓️HD35 Special Election Date Set for February 10, 2026!
The date is set for our first flip of 2026! The Special General Election in House District 35 will take place on February 10. Our candidate, Luke Kruse [[link removed]] , is a career educator, little league coach, and dad.
Not only is he well-respected in his community, he’s earning the trust of bipartisan voters. You can help Luke flip this seat by joining him on the doors! [[link removed]]

✅Targeted Voter Registration Underway!
Last month, we sent voter registration forms to thousands of unregistered but likely Dems in swing districts in Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Comanche Counties.
We’re already seeing higher than average return rates , which confirms our sense that our neighbors are frustrated with current affairs and want to be part of positive change.
These new voters in purple districts could be the difference in Democratic flips. In one District where a Democrat came within 300 votes of victory last year, we found 900 new, eligible voters ready to choose a better Oklahoma!
This is our chance to build early to flip Republican seats!

🏠Evictions are Rising Following SNAP Cuts.
Lingering impacts of the loss of SNAP benefits during the government shutdown are coming to light. There’s been a significant spike in evictions this month [[link removed]] . It’s especially stark in Oklahoma, where we have one of the nation’s shortest eviction timelines. Senate Minority Leader Julia Kirt [[link removed]] has been working on economic issues like housing for several sessions.
Listen in [[link removed]] as she breaks down the opportunities we have to address housing challenges in the upcoming legislative session.
