Dear Friend,
We've faced some big challenges this year--in the U.S. and as a global community working for peace and justice. But history has shown that when we come together, we can make change. Thank you for being part of that change as an AFSC supporter!
This year, our communities have faced violence and fear. Government raids are disrupting our neighborhoods and violating our civil rights. Immigrants are being detained and disappeared, tearing apart families and communities.
As a Quaker organization, AFSC believes in the inherent worth and dignity of every person. And we know that immigrants make our communities stronger. That’s why we are mobilizing to provide support to immigrants and communities, now and in the future. In 2025 we:
- Inspired over 63,000 letters to Congress advocating for just and welcoming migration policies.
- Led 'Know Your Rights' trainings that reached nearly 7,000 people in California, Oregon, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey and New Hampshire.
- Provided hundreds of people with mutual aid and resources through our weekly Miramar Circle of Protection in Florida.
We couldn't do this vital work without you. Your gift today supports our work for just migration and safe communities for all. In 2026 we will:
- Lead efforts to decrease immigrant detention across the country.
- Provide legal aid to hundreds of people to help them avoid deportation and stay with their families.
- Continue supporting leaders in immigrant communities and working with them on policies that are welcoming, dignified, and just.
We see a future where everyone is welcome in our communities. Where civil and human rights are respected. Where people are safe from detention and deportation. We work for a world where migration is a choice, not a necessity, because everyone has what they need to thrive.
