Heritage Launches Campaign to Promote Golden Age

American heritage: Ahead of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, The Heritage Foundation just launched a national ad campaign to celebrate our American heritage and meet the challenges of the next 250 years head on.  

  • As part of this project, Heritage is focusing on four cornerstones: the American Family, the Dignity of Work & the Future of Free Enterprise, National Security, and the American Heritage & Citizenship.

Americans Agree on Race, Schools, and Sex

United we stand: In his latest book—which was recently featured in the New York Post—Heritage’s Jonathan Butcher found that Americans aren't as divided as we think on the issues that matter. 

  • “For these issues around sex and race and the other topics on which the survey found agreement, citizens should speak up before elected boards and… can confidently say there are others with them,” writes Butcher.

Heritage Scholar Defends Israel’s Claim to West Bank

West Bank: In a testimony before the House Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, Senior Research Fellow Eugene Kontorovich made the case for why Judea and Samaria fall within Israel's borders and do not belong in the boundaries of any other state.

  • "Under widely agreed international rules, Israel has sovereign rights to the territory. The legal principles are not controversial," Eugene stated.

We Must End Birthright Citizenship

End of story: Soon, the Supreme Court will hear arguments to return to the original meaning of the 14th amendment.

  • "It just kind of came out of thin air, the idea that if you’re born in the U.S., you’re a U.S. citizen no matter what,” says Heritage Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky.
