I'm Manel Tomás, Chief Operating Officer at CitizenGO. Our President Ignacio Arsuaga has written to you a few times this year about CitizenGO’s budget. I’m writing with hard news—and a simple, honest ask.

I know that these emails aren’t fun to get. Still, I would like to remind you of two things about how we operate:

1. Unlike many other groups, CitizenGO doesn’t manufacture crises or play games with numbers. You’ll get straight truth from me here.
2. If we hit our 2026 goal with your help, you won’t hear from me again this year. Promise.

Here is the bottom line: we still need 2,725 people to start a monthly gift before year-end so we have the steady resources to fund our work in 2026.

Let me give you an insight into what CitizenGO's budget looks like going into the New Year.

We often tell you that CitizenGO is funded primarily by small-dollar grassroots donations from people like you. But to be more specific, 98% of our 2025 budget came from people like you, receiving emails like this and chipping in what you could.

CitizenGO relies especially on donors who give monthly because it allows us to predict how much money we will have months or even years down the line to spend on the critical work that we do. And all the monthly donations, no matter how small, add up. 

If we are able to meet our goal of 2,725 new monthly donors, even as little as $10, that will translate into $350,000 in 2026!

Focusing on small donations of $10, $20 or $25 has been a core tenet of CitizenGO's mission since our founding in 2013 because it ensures that we can remain fiercely independent and responsible to only our members, not the whims of a single large donor who writes us a check.

But over the last year, our battles have multiplied across the globe, yet our donations have not kept pace. 

And now, for the first time in seven years, CitizenGO is facing a $700,000 shortfall in our war chest. We’ve had to launch more campaigns than ever before to fight back against globalist and woke-left threats, and donations have not kept pace.

It’s not surprising, considering the furious offensive from the far-left governments and globalists we're tackling all over the world. They want to crush your voice and mine—forcing us to embrace the new pro-abortion “religion,” impose gender ideology, exploit pandemics as cover-ups, and erase the Christian roots of our societies.

And now, they’re taking it one step further: seeking to build a digital totalitarianism where every transaction, movement, and written or spoken word can be monitored and controlled through state-imposed digital IDs, central bank digital currencies, and mass surveillance laws.

This isn’t just politics anymore—it’s a global system of surveillance designed to silence believers, families, and anyone who dares to defend freedom and truth.

Sadly, as these attacks multiply, they’re not only exhausting us—they’re draining resources across the entire pro-life and pro-family movement. CitizenGO simply can’t keep fighting on so many fronts at once without strong support.

The radical pro-abortion lobbyists, fanatic LGBT activists, and those who despise our Christian heritage are entering 2026 with hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank—ready to bankroll candidates, rewrite laws, and push terrifying policies of social and digital control.

The good news is that CitizenGO has never needed to match these groups pound-to-pound. For more than 10 years, we have been nimble, innovative, and frugal—but given the intensity of the opposition, I'm concerned that we are not going to have the money we need to fight back.

You may be wondering what CitizenGO will do with that $350,000 next year if we manage to reach our goal.

The short answer is—a lot!

Some of that money will be put toward research and development of new techniques to identify, energize, and mobilize young people and pro-family voters.

Some will go toward the fight to defend freedom itself—against the rise of a digital totalitarianism that seeks to monitor every citizen, track every transaction, and silence every dissenting voice. Your support is leading a global resistance—raising alarms, rallying nations, and pushing back wherever digital control threatens the God-given right to live free.

Some will be placed in our emergency reserves, so that when crises strike—like when our campaigners were arrested, threatened, or smeared for defending life and family—we can respond immediately.

This year alone, our team members were detained at the United Nations, attacked and silenced at the OAS, and defamed in national media—simply for standing up for truth. Your support ensures we can immediately step in and do whatever it takes to fight back.

Some will be used to help fund small, underfunded but critically important organizations doing direct service work on the ground, in front of abortion centers, to save babies' lives; or battling back to avoid our children being groomed and brainwashed at schools in gender ideology.

And some will be used to ensure that CitizenGO is able to continue paying our incredible, hardworking staff the fair wages that we believe every single worker deserves.
