You would think that Democrats could find a way to attack Trump without relying on hoaxes, but you would be wrong. The hoaxes began in 2016 with the Steele Dossier, and they drop a new one every few months like clockwork. The new hoax is from the Epstein files, of course, and revolves on a photograph the Democrats altered (read faked), claiming that Trump was consorting with underage girls. Matt Vespa: did anyone do a deep dive into this latest photo from this circus of a story? Because the claims made are undoubtedly worthy of a lawsuit. MS Now reported that this photo shows Trump was pictured with underage girls or potential victims of Epstein. That’s not true. They’re adult women; their image has been seen and published for years. To make matters more embarrassing, MS Now’s legal reporter reported on this story—what a trainwreck… (Townhall) New York Post: Unredacted photos of President Trump from the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s estate — which oddly blurred the faces of women he posed with — reveal he was standing with “adult women models,” according to exclusive images obtained by The Post.  Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a trove of images from Epstein’s estate Friday, including two shots of the president with women whose faces were blacked out — fueling speculation they could be the disgraced financier’s victims.  But a pair of pictures obtained exclusively by The Post show Trump standing next to beautiful grown women. One woman pictured in a black-and-white image with the future president and five other glamorous ladies in Hawaiian leis said he was a “gentleman” who went out of his way to make sure the group enjoyed their evening at Mar-a-Lago. “I don’t remember much of that,” she told the Telegraph. “I was 22 years old and remember him being very nice. He was very gentlemanly, that’s the word to describe him.” The outlet reported the women were models representing the Hawaiian Tropic, the American suntan lotion brand, at an event at Trump’s Florida home. Perhaps Importing Islamic Terrorists Is a Bad Idea?

At least 15 Jewish worshippers were massacred at Bondi Beach in Australia by Islamic migrants on Saturday as Australian police looked on without responding as they fired and reloaded. The shooters were a father and son with visas from Pakistan. Israel had warned the Australian authorities of intelligence that an attack was being planned. Telegraph: Israeli authorities said they were examining responsibility for the attack amid concerns it may have been orchestrated by a foreign state or militant organisations. The shooting occurred against a backdrop of escalating tensions between Australia and Iran, following a series of suspected Iranian-directed attacks on Jewish targets in the country. Australian officials have not publicly confirmed any foreign involvement. However, Israeli officials cited Iran as a primary suspect if a state actor were involved, while also examining possible links to groups including Hezbollah, Hamas and Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, according to Israeli media reports. A senior Israeli security official told Israel Hayom that there had been “increased activity by Iran in recent months to orchestrate attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets around the world,” adding that investigators believed the “direction and infrastructure” of the Bondi Beach attack originated in Tehran. An Israeli intelligence source cited by the newspaper said activity by Iran and its allies had “markedly increased” in recent months. Another Israeli official said Australia had been among the countries affected, noting that the Australian government had previously taken action against the Iranian embassy following specific intelligence warnings. Biden Warned That Afghan Terror Suspects Were Being Flown In

In a related story, The Telegraph has another explosive reveal about the process through which the National Guard assassin from Afghanistan entered the country in the chaotic days of America’s last days in Afghanistan. Telegraph: Joe Biden’s administration ignored counter-terrorism warnings to admit Afghans with terrorist links into the US, it has been claimed. Officials flagged more than 1,000 Afghans with ties to Islamic State (IS) and other terror groups who came over during Operation Allies Welcome, following the US’ bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, a senior intelligence official told The Telegraph. But Mr Biden, the former president, is said to have “prioritised mass migration over security” and disregarded warnings from those within his administration who “identified terrorist threats”. US government reports have previously concluded the normal system of background checks was suspended because of the pressing need to evacuate Afghans following the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. On Nov 26, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan soldier who fought alongside American forces and was granted humanitarian parole in the US under Mr Biden, shot and killed a National Guardsman and left another in critical condition. Biden Library Has Raised $0, With Little Prospect of Tapping Donors

Less than two years ago the Democrats were lecturing us that Joe Biden was the reincarnation of George Washington and one of the most consequential presidents in American history. Now that he is out of office, nobody is willing to contribute to his presidential library. New York Times: Partly because of that poor fund-raising, discussions are underway about consolidating a potential Biden library with pre-existing Biden institutions at the University of Delaware, according to four people who were granted anonymity to talk about the private planning process. That might allow the library to take advantage of the millions of dollars that the university, the former president’s alma mater, has already raised to build a “Biden Hall.” So far, some of Mr. Biden’s most loyal contributors said they had not been contacted by anyone about giving to the library. Other Democratic donors have said that even if Mr. Biden asks them, they are unlikely to give money because they are focused on fighting President Trump or are embittered by Mr. Biden’s term in office. John Morgan, a longtime Democratic donor who was one of Mr. Biden’s top bundlers, said he would not give “a penny” to the former president’s library, citing poor treatment from Mr. Biden’s staff. “The Biden staff, they ruined any type of good library for him,” Mr. Morgan said. “He’ll be lucky to have a bookmobile.” As a point of contrast, Mr. Morgan said he had dinner with former President Bill Clinton last week to discuss a possible donation to his library for an expansion. Mr. Morgan said Mr. Clinton and former President Barack Obama kept much better relations with their donors and supporters, which has enabled them to build large foundations and libraries…Mr. Obama has raised $1.5 billion so far, according to new filings. He posted a video on social media this week announcing that his presidential center would open in June. Mr. Trump, who plans a library in Miami, says he wants to raise more than $950 million before he leaves office. Mr. Biden has said little about his plans, beyond that he wants his library to be somewhere in Delaware, his home state. Aides say he envisions something smaller and cheaper than Mr. Obama’s center. As unlikely as it seems, it could be that Democrats were gaslighting us when they compared Biden to the Founding Fathers.

House Oversight Committee: DC Police Chief Cooked the Crime Books

Democrats attacked President Trump when he deployed National Guard troops to D.C., claiming that crime had been falling under the leadership of the police chief. Well, the statistics indeed showed a decline, but the statistics were cooked. House Oversight: The interim report, drawn from transcribed interviews with the commanders of all seven D.C. patrol districts, as well as one former commander currently placed on suspended leave, reveals that Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Chief Pamela A. Smith pressured and at times directed commanders to manipulate crime data in order to maintain the appearance of low crime in the nation’s capital. The testimony from the commanders also describes an environment under Chief Smith marked by fear, intimidation, threats, and retaliation—conditions that contributed directly to declining morale and the loss of experienced officers and commanders. “Every single person who lives, works, or visits the District of Columbia deserves a safe city, yet it’s now clear the American people were deliberately kept in the dark about the true crime rates in our nation’s capital. Testimony from experienced and courageous MPD commanders has exposed the truth: Chief Pamela Smith coerced staff to report artificially low crime data and cultivated a culture of fear to achieve her agenda. Chief Smith’s decision to mislead the public by manipulating crime statistics is dangerous and undermines trust in both local leadership and law enforcement. Her planned resignation at the end of the month should not be seen as a voluntary choice, but as an inevitable consequence that should have occurred much earlier. Chief Smith should resign today. Five Muslim Terror Suspects Arrested in Germany

You may be detecting a theme in today’s Daybreak: the rise of Islamic terrorism this holiday season. This time, the target was to be a Christmas market in Berlin. BBC: Five men have been arrested in Germany suspected of being involved in a plot to drive a vehicle into people at a Christmas market. Three Moroccans, an Egyptian and a Syrian were detained on Friday over the plan to target a market in the southern Bavarian state. Authorities said they suspected an “Islamist motive”. Prosecutors said the Egyptian – a 56-year-old – was alleged to have “called for a vehicle attack… with the aim of killing or injuring as many people as possible”. The Moroccans allegedly agreed to carry out the attack. Officials in Germany have been on high alert after previous attacks at Christmas markets, including in Magdeburg last December that killed six people. Authorities did not say when the planned attack was supposed to take place or which market was the target, though said they believed it to be one in the Dingolfing-Landau area, north east of Munich. German newspaper Bild reported the Egyptian man was an imam at a mosque in the area. (BBC) If Islam is the “religion of peace,” one wonders what a religion of terrorism would look like.

Cardi B may have been a Kamala Harris supporter, but J.D. Vance has gotten a boost from an unlikely source: Nikki Minaj. Over the past few days, Minaj has been praising Vance and slamming Gavin Newsom on X. Breitbart: Rap megastar Nicki Minaj blasted California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) saying he wants to “see trans kids.” The “Super Bass” singer reacted in a series of X posts, telling Newsom, “It’s the end of the road for you.” “Oh Gavvy pooh, it only gets worse from here for you, buddy. It’s the end of the road for you, my love,” Minaj declared in a Friday X post, sharing an image of the Chucky character from the Child’s Play film franchise. “Get on the nearest jet ski & let that beautiful hair blow in the wind. It will make you happier than this race that you will not win. Enjoy life. Peace,” the “Starships” singer added. In a follow-up X post, Minaj wrote, “Gavin is the cute boy who got everything handed to him b/c of how cute & sexy & hot & smoking he was. Oohhh look @’m. New CBS Anchor ‘Too White, Straight, Male, and Heterosexual’

Tony Dokoupil was recently named as the next news anchor for CBS Evening News, and predictably enough, a lot of CBS employees were not happy with Bari Weiss’s choice. Jonathan Turley: Bari Weiss was brought in to save the network and move it back to a neutral center. She has encountered continued attacks from staff who are outraged by the efforts, including her recent selection of Tony Dokoupil as the next evening anchor. Dokoupil is being attacked as too white, male, straight, and pro-Israel. The one identity these staffers seem less interested in is that of a top news network. Weiss is trying to save their very jobs by reversing this trend. However, these anonymous staffers would prefer to lose their jobs than their bias. … The objections to Dokoupil are particularly revealing. Past CBS hosts and anchors have destroyed the network’s standing with many viewers, particularly those in the middle or right of the political spectrum. The decline was summed up when 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl literally laughed on air in the face of President Donald Trump, after he said that Biden was implicated in the influence-peddling scandal involving his son, Hunter.  It was not the smug delivery but Stahl categorically denying that Biden was facing a scandal and showing absolutely little interest in the documented millions of dollars that went to the Biden family. US Soldiers Killed in Attack in Syria Over the Weekend

Most Americans probably don’t even know that the United States has soldiers on the ground in Syria, and unfortunately, we have three fewer after an ambush attack. New York Post:  The US troops who were killed and injured in Saturday’s ambush attack in Syria were members of the Iowa National Guard, a senior US official told Fox News. An ISIS gunman opened fire with an automatic weapon in the central Syrian town of Palmyra, killing two Iowa National Guard soldiers and an American civilian translator, the official said. Three additional US soldiers were wounded in the attack. Preliminary information suggests the attacker was once affiliated with the Syrian government forces and had been a low-level member of the Syrian Security Forces, before later becoming connected to ISIS, the official said. “He was not a part of the official delegation that was being escorted by the US and Syrian troops,” the official said. “… This would not be considered a ‘green on blue’ incident because the Syrian gunman was not part of the US/Syrian partnered delegation.” Earlier Saturday, US Central Command confirmed the deaths and injuries were a “result of an ambush by a lone ISIS gunman in Syria.” President Donald Trump warned that there will be “very serious retaliation” following the ambush. This Is What ‘Globalize the Intifada Means

As leftists march in Western capitals and academics echo the chant to “globalize the intifada,” we have been treated to example after example of what exactly that means. We don’t yet know whether the shooting at Brown University over the weekend was aimed at the Jewish professor, but the attack in Australia, the shooting of US soldiers in Syria by an ISIS adherent, the thwarted Christmas market attack in Berlin, and the shooting of National Guardsmen in Washington all show what “globalize the intifada” means in practice. David Frum: When people chant “intifada revolution,” they are revealing something important about their goals and methods. Yet in many Western countries, public authorities have been reluctant—or unwilling—to hear the message. In May, a pro-Palestinian activist assassinated two people in downtown Washington, D.C. “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza,” he told police according to his federal indictment. The same message appeared on a prescheduled post on his social-media accounts. In October, two men were killed and three injured in a car-ramming and stabbing attack directed against Yom Kippur worshippers in Manchester, England. Yet there has remained, until now, terrible reluctance by Western governments to accept the appearance on their soil of deadly threats to their Jewish citizens from people motivated by anti-Israel ideology. Those movements have progressively tested what used to be red lines: blocking access to synagogues, for example, as happened in recent weeks in Los Angeles and New York City.
