Trump and his allies want people terrified when ICE shows up. I want them ready — equipped with clear, lawful information and standing on their rights. That’s what PAXIS is for. Thanks to people just like you, we’ve already passed $16,000 raised, more than 65% of our $25,000 goal to build this response system.

PAXIS is a calm, lawful response system for the moments when ICE or other enforcement shows up at someone’s door, work, or school.

When that happens, people are scared. They panic. They forget their rights. PAXIS is being built so that in those moments, people can get clear, steady guidance rooted in the Constitution and in nonviolence.

The goal is simple: when an immigrant, or someone they love, is in a dangerous or high-pressure situation — at the door, on the street, at work, at school — they have something in their corner that helps them and the people around them:

* remember they have the right to stay silent

* know when not to open the door or consent to a search

* ask the right questions calmly

* stay grounded in their rights and in their dignity, as family, friends, neighbors, and allies stand with them

Here’s how your donations are being used right now:

* Building the first PAXIS off Big Tech platform

* Plugging in real “Know Your Rights” materials and guides on warrants and subpoenas, in plain language

* Testing PAXIS with immigrants, organizers, and legal partners, and translating it

* Putting strong guardrails in place so everything stays aligned with the Constitution and with nonviolence

This is not some vague “someday” idea. It’s infrastructure. When pressure comes — a raid, a visit, a scare — I want people to have a disciplined, lawful, nonviolent response ready to go.
