John,
It has been an exhausting year for so many families of transgender youth, who have grappled not only with state-level bans on gender-affirming care but also attacks from the Trump Administration, including attempts to block access by threatening clinics' funding streams.
And now, cruelly, there's a new attack – in Congress.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that her bill that would criminalize gender-affirming care for young transgender people will be voted on by the House of Representatives on December 17. If passed, this awful bill would move to the Senate – and seriously threaten the healthcare that young trans people rely on.
It's critical that we let our members of Congress know that we urge them to oppose this dangerous, cruel bill and vote NO. Click here to join us in sending a strong message to your member of Congress demanding they REJECT this awful attack. ([link removed])

While there is a long road ahead before the bill becomes law, we want to stop this in its tracks before it gains even an inch of traction. Transgender youth and their families need all of us to speak out and tell our Representatives to vote NO on a federal ban on gender-affirming care.
Through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, our team at the Campaign for Southern Equality has been honored to support thousands of people through the crisis of 27 state-level healthcare bans and clinic closures across the country. We're going to show up and speak out every single time that the government tries to infringe on the freedoms of transgender youth and their families – and we need you with us.
Rush a message to your U.S. Representative now so they know you support trans youth and oppose these unthinkable attacks on their care. ([link removed])
I know it feels like every day there's a new attack, but when we all speak out and fight back, there's nothing we can't accomplish together. Let's get to work and stop this bill.
Thank you,
Adam Polaski
