This week, the Senate is moving quickly to draft and vote on the next coronavirus relief package. That legislation must include emergency funding for America's hospitals and health systems and immediate support for health care heroes on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We need to act now. Contact your senators and tell them to provide emergency funding for hospitals and protect patient care now:

Our community's collective action in March played a key role in Congress passing the CARES Act, which was a crucial first step in securing immediate funding for front line providers. But, now, we need to keep the pressure on Capitol Hill and urge lawmakers to prioritize patient care as the coronavirus continues to impact our nation.

According to the American Hospital Association, hospitals and health systems are expected to lose $320 billion this year due to COVID-19. As cases surge in many states, doctors, nurses, and all hospital staff are in need of immediate support to continue caring for patients and our communities. They have been there for us since the pandemic began. Now, we must be there for them.

Take two minutes today to send a letter to your senators. Tell them to support patients, hospitals, and health systems, and in their new legislation:
