Dear John,

Gunning down wolves from helicopters. Killing bear cubs and coyote pups in their
dens. This is what we’re fighting to stop. Help us save the wolves, bears, and caribou with a $10 donation.

It’s being called the “Extinction Plan,” and yes, it is as bad as it sounds.
This administration is green-lighting barbaric and cruel hunting practices,
undoing critical Endangered Species protections, and handing over key wildlife
habitats and public lands to Big Oil. All of these struggles are connected, and
we will talk about why in a moment.

Thanks to this administration’s rollbacks of common-sense wildlife protections,
trophy hunters in Alaska’s nature preserves are now using these once-illegal
practices with impunity:

* Shooting hibernating mother bears and cubs in their dens
* Using bacon grease and doughnuts to bait bears
* Using motorboats to shoot swimming caribou
* Killing wolf pups in their dens
* Targeting animals from airplanes, helicopters, and snowmobiles

Alaska’s wildlife and public lands need your help -- wildlife and public lands
across the nation do, too! Can you chip in $10 or more right now?

[[link removed]]These so-called “hunting practices” are cruel and inhumane -- they were banned
for good reason. Even worse, they are happening in nature preserves, the very
places intended as refuges for America’s iconic species like bears, wolves, and
caribou.

These practices are so barbaric, they have widespread and bipartisan opposition
-- but the Oil Lobby is spending huge money to block progress. This
administration and Big Oil are working hand-in-hand toward the same goal: Their
plan is to weaken the Endangered Species Act enough to clear the way for massive
fossil fuel projects. Their plan means it’s not only open season on these
innocent animals being hunted for sport -- it’s open season on our public lands,
on the communities who rely on them, and on our climate, too.

We are going all in to stop these barbaric attacks on our wildlife and planet.

[[link removed]]Endangered Species laws provide critical and needed protection for America’s
iconic animal species. They are also some of our most effective safeguards in
the fight to protect our public lands and curb catastrophic climate change. For
the sake of our wildlife, for the sake of our planet, we can’t let this
administration turn the keys of our public lands over to the fossil fuel
industry.

Our team is working with a coalition of allies and progressive champions in
Congress to advance a new bill that would put a stop to these attacks on our
wildlife and public lands: The PAW and FIN Conservation Act would reverse nearly
all of this administration’s attacks on endangered species, and win crucial
protections for animals and the public lands that are some of the last refuges
for these iconic species.

We have a chance to go on offense, and undo all the damage this administration
has done to the Endangered Species Act. But we need members like you to have our
back.

Help us win permanent protection for our public lands and the wolves, bears, and
other species that call these lands home.
