Finally, now Congress is taking meaningful action to stop the spread of these “forever chemicals” and clean up legacy pollution. PFAS chemicals have been linked to serious health risks like cancer and immune system harm. These chemicals never break down naturally and are commonly used in cookware, clothing and food packaging.

Dupont and 3M knowingly released these dangerous chemicals into our environment but have done little to stop the alarming spread of PFAS contamination. We need Congress to step in to stop the growing PFAS contamination crisis.
