Next year, VoteVets will be twenty years old.

That same year, our country will celebrate its 250th birthday.

To the former, it’s truly hard to believe that so much time has passed — even more difficult to believe how much we have accomplished together since then.

To the latter, I am sure it saddens you as much as it does me that we will celebrate this national milestone under the yoke of a man who seeks at every opportunity to destroy the very same democracy our ancestors founded all those years ago.

But I must tell you: I could not be prouder of how we have met that man and his authoritarian ambitions. VoteVets has fought this president to a standstill so many times, and we are poised to take back our majority in Congress next year. And it will be our candidates, VoteVets-backed leaders, who do it.

So, as we approach the final days of this year, I’m writing to make a humble request:
