Dear USO Supporter,
Sometimes, our service members need a hero — and sometimes these heroes happen to have four legs and a tail.
When the stresses of deployment and being far from home are especially difficult for our service members, the USO Canine Program steps in with all four paws. This highly requested program is especially critical during the holiday season, when being far from loved ones and beloved traditions is even more difficult.
USO Canine Volunteers provide emotional and mental health support, visit injured or sick service members at Warrior and Family Centers and provide comfort to military children who have lost a parent. Their visits alone are associated with lowering cases of PTSD, decreasing anxiety and helping with depression.

This year has been difficult for our troops, and we thank you for standing with them.
For the People Who Serve,
