Yesterday, we had our 2025 Winter Convention--a normal and procedural meeting that we have twice a year.
But this one was different.
What should have been a routine, procedural meeting turned into something powerful. The energy in the room was electric, and the support for our work was unmistakable.
Our convention featured a video from our U.S. Senator Mark Kelly who's been under attack from the Trump administration. He talked about the importance of not just fighting this administration tooth and nail, but also leaning on local politics at a time when communities across the country are being pulled apart.
We also had Congressman Greg Stanton show his support, as well as elected officials from around the Valley, because they understand how important organizing locally is now more than ever.
Going into the election season, this is exactly what we needed: energy, momentum, and support.

Maricopa County has 65% of the state’s registered voters, more voters than 23 U.S. states, and is where we have to win if we want to re-elect Governor Hobbs, Attorney General Mayes, and Secretary of State Fontes.
