Dear Friend,
As we celebrate Hanukkah – the Festival of Lights – I’ve been reflecting on how powerful even a single flame can be. This year, supporters like you helped bring that light to classrooms and communities across the country.
In 2025, students heard firsthand from 101-year-old Holocaust rescuer Carla Peperzak, who reminded them, “You always have a choice.” And we witnessed 11-year-old Natalie Flaherty bring an Anne Frank tree sapling to her Minnesota school, sharing hope with her entire community.
Moments like these embody the message of Hanukkah:
light grows when we choose to share it.
As antisemitism rises nationwide, educators are asking for our help. They need programs that teach empathy, courage, and connection: tools that truly change lives.
This Hanukkah, will you help us bring more light into the world?
Your gift today will help us reach more students, support more schools, and continue planting symbols of hope across the country.
Please make a Hanukkah gift at annefrank.com/donate.
Thank you for standing with us in this season of rededication and light.
Warmly,

Lauren Bairnsfather, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Anne Frank Center USA
P.S. Your donation of any amount helps us say “yes” to more schools in 2026.
