Hi,

Isolated from their friends, cooped up inside during the summer holiday from school — this summer is tough for kids.

That’s why Earth Day Network’s Education Department developed a Summer Edition of our Climate Education Week Toolkit.1 With a range of indoor, outdoor, low-tech and hi-tech activities, there’s something for learners of all ages.

Will you support environmental education in the time of pandemic?

Education lays the groundwork for environmental progress. Future generations will carry forward the lessons of today — and they can have fun while learning!

  • Plastic pollution. It’s all around us. What can kids do to help?
  • Biodiversity. Love your local wildlife. Bees consume pollen and nectar from flowering plants.
  • Climate equity and environmental justice. Start a conversation over dinner.
  • Air pollution. Download the Earth Challenge app to see what’s in the air you breathe.
  • Sustainable food. Try the Foodprint calculator to see the impact of what you eat.

Environmental education today provides the training ground for tomorrow’s climate leaders. And Earth Day Network is on the front lines with the resources learners of all ages need to effect real change in environmental and climate policy.

Will you show your commitment to our future?

Together,

The Education Department
Earth Day Network
