Dear John,

Today, workers across the country are walking off the job for justice, workers internationally are taking action in solidarity, and people everywhere are showing their support as part of the July 20, #StrikeForBlackLives!

Art: @obeygiant

Join us to declare that Black Lives Matter and build a moral fusion movement that fights against the interlocking injustices of systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism. We must bring about a fundamental revolution of values that will transform our society!

Add your name here to pledge to support the strike by walking off the job, taking a knee or taking a moment of silence at 12pm ET/ 9am PT for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, marking the amount of time the officer kneeled on George Floyd’s neck as he lay dying, and search for event in your area here.

If you can't leave home or strike, make your voice heard today using the #StrikeForBlackLives hashtag, and tune in at 3pm ET/ 12pm PT to the strike livestream.

Today is a day of reckoning. Today we show that our solidarity can change the world.

Forward together, not one step back!
