I want to take just a moment to tell you something important about who I am and why I’m fighting for you.

I didn’t come to Washington to climb the political ladder. I came here because I watched the federal government crush families, crush small businesses, and crush opportunity.
 
I lived the consequences of big government firsthand.
I lived the American Dream firsthand too.

I spent my childhood working every job imaginable. From paper routes to snow shoveling to restaurant shifts, I learned the value of hard work. I used those wages to pay for college on my own.

Then, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, I built a manufacturing business from the ground up, turning it into one of America’s largest plastics producers, employing hundreds, and proving that American workers can outcompete anyone when government gets out of the way.
