Brady is currently monitoring the situation at Brown University in Rhode Island following the devastating mass shooting that killed at least two people and left eight more injured.

No student should fear being gunned down in their school, yet each time Congress fails to take action, students remain at risk of the endless cycle of gun violence. We owe it to the victims and their families to do something now. Join us in sending an urgent message to Congress to demand an end to the school shootings:

Friend,

As news continues to come out and families and community members try to find comfort in chaos, what we know is that at least two people are dead and eight people are critically injured after a gunman opened fire on students at Brown University.

Instead of studying for finals and worrying about grades, students are forced to face the unimaginable fear of a mass shooting at their school.

How many schools must be locked down before we do something? How many children must be gunned down on their campus before we act?

Constant school shootings shouldn’t be the norm, but the inaction of our lawmakers puts every single student at risk. In the face of today’s tragedy at Brown University, we are calling on activists to demand action from Congress to finally end school shootings and protect our kids. Add your name to Brady’s rapid response petition NOW. >>

Friend, we cannot turn away when our children are under attack. This is the 389th mass shooting this year alone, and the devastation will continue if we become numb to this, if we accept school shootings as inevitable.

In the face of yet another tragic mass shooting at a school, I’m asking you to join me in sending a message to the lawmakers who have remained frozen in their cowardly inaction for far too long.

We must demand that our leaders finally stand up to the gun lobby and do something to end school shootings and protect our children. Add your name and don’t let our lawmakers look away from this tragedy:

Thank you for taking action, friend. We are keeping the victims, families, and the Brown University community in our hearts.
