As news continues to come out and families and community members try to find comfort in chaos, what we know is that at least two people are dead and eight people are critically injured after a gunman opened fire on students at Brown University.

Instead of studying for finals and worrying about grades, students are forced to face the unimaginable fear of a mass shooting at their school. 

How many schools must be locked down before we do something? How many children must be gunned down on their campus before we act?

Constant school shootings shouldn’t be the norm, but the inaction of our lawmakers puts every single student at risk.
