I won’t waste your time: I’m reaching out because as 2025 comes to a close, our final FEC deadline is rapidly approaching.

This is our last major test before the midterm election year begins. All eyes will be on our fundraising report -- our supporters, opponents, and the national GOP will be combing over our performance.

This race is in a dramatically different place than the beginning of the year:

* Proposition 50 passed in California, and added tens of thousands of new voters to our district. These are folks that have never seen my name on a ballot, and we’re racing to reach them through our voter outreach efforts.

* My Republican opponent wants to flip this seat back to red and stick to the status quo in Washington -- an agenda that has wreaked havoc on working families who are struggling to make ends meet. He also boasts an endorsement from Mike Garcia, the GOP incumbent we defeated in 2024.

I’m working hard in Washington to deliver real results back to our communities, and I’ll be honest, it doesn’t leave much time to make sure we hit our key deadlines. Can I count on you to chip in $3 today to keep CA-27 blue and secure the House majority for Democrats?
