Katie Porter’s campaign has cleared big hurdles, but our biggest test yet
is coming up fast: our end-of-year fundraising deadline.

After December 31st, we’ll need to report how much money our campaign has
raised—and everybody will be watching our numbers closely. We need to
raise another $10,000 over email by our mid-month deadline to stay on

Some of our opponents don’t need to worry about grassroots fundraising.
One is a billionaire who has already spent over $10 MILLION on TV ad buys,
and others are cashing corporate checks. Katie does neither, because a
worker-first agenda can’t be funded by corporate interests.

But that means if our opponents see bad fundraising on our filing, they
will come after us even harder. We need to show strength, one
$5 donation at a time.
