With all the chaos coming out of Washington and this reckless Administration, here’s something that has flown under the radar:

Trump is quietly trying to bring back offshore drilling to California’s coastlines. His new plan would reopen our waters to dangerous drilling that would wreak havoc on our environment and devastate our communities.

Oil spills have taken a real toll in our state over the years, and experts agree that restarting offshore drilling would be a “ticking time bomb.”

This is a rare issue that the overwhelming majority of California and Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike agree on: We cannot let Trump decimate our coasts by bringing back offshore drilling.

That’s why I was proud to join my colleagues in signing a letter to Trump demanding that drilling in California is fully taken off the table. But we need an all-out push to sound the alarm: Will you sign my petition today to protect California’s coasts?
