Hey John, it’s Hannah Pingree.

I’m running for governor to tackle Maine’s toughest challenges—from ensuring quality health care that Mainers can afford to addressing our housing crisis—and I know we can win. But I need your help to get there.
I’ve spent my career delivering for Maine families — as Speaker of the House, as chair of my local school board, and as Director of the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. In every role, I’ve learned that leadership begins with listening. It’s by hearing directly from people in our communities that we create solutions that make a difference.
It was through those conversations that we came together to defend reproductive rights, take on the chemical industry to get toxic chemicals out of everyday products, pass marriage equality, improve housing access, and protect Maine’s working waterfronts.
None of it happened alone. It took listening, collaboration, and a deep belief in what our communities can accomplish when we come together.
And winning this race won't happen alone either, John. It's something we can only accomplish as a team.
The road ahead won’t be easy, but I know how to win tough fights. I’ve done it before. Governors are on the front lines standing up against the Trump Administration. They are protecting our rights, standing up for Democracy, and solving problems that Washington D.C. is making worse.
