Montana is just the beginning, John.
We have already executed the first phases of The Montana Plan, a brand-new legal approach built on top of 200 years of Supreme Court decisions that say states can stop giving their corporations any power at any time.
By using corporate law instead of campaign finance reform, we can work around Citizens United and make it irrelevant.
In 2026, we’re going to pass a ballot initiative here in Montana, where recent polling shows over 70% of Montanans across the political spectrum are in favor of our idea.
We’ll have a few months to collect 100,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot, and then we’ll be working around the clock to campaign from the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains.
The work isn’t done when we win here, though. By setting a legal precedent, we’re creating a blueprint for other states to make Citizens United irrelevant and curb corporate influence in our elections.
That’s why we’re fielding calls from people in red, blue, and purple states alike — they all want their state to be next!
For any of this to happen, though, we need our first victory. The stage is set in Big Sky Country, and we’re getting ready to launch our signature collection campaign early next year. It’s time for the people who value a healthy democracy, the people who are ready for change, the people who are just like you to seize this opportunity.
We’re depending on supporters like you to keep our grassroots movement alive as we move into signature collection. Please, will you chip in $20, $8, or even just $3 to beat Citizens United here and everywhere?
From Kalispell to the Coasts, we’re fighting for a future without undue corporate influence in our elections. Thank you for doing your part today.
