Just a few weeks from now, we’ll officially close the books on our End-of-Year fundraising drive. And when this deadline ends, we’ll be required by law to file an annual fundraising report with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. What does that mean?

It means everyone — and I mean everyone — will have the opportunity to search through our fundraising numbers for weakness. The far-right will know if our numbers are good… and they’ll know if our numbers are bad.

As you probably know, I’ve been traveling across the Commonwealth, meeting the folks who keep Pennsylvania running, and getting shit done. But that also means I need a little help from you on the fundraising side of things.

One dollar may not sound like a lot these days, but trust me, this upcoming fundraising deadline isn’t just about how much we raise. It’s about how many people join the team.

I don’t mean to dive too far into the nitty gritty, but the number of individual donations tells a far bigger story than the actual dollar figure at the top of the report. With a high enough number, it proves to the far-right that this is a grassroots-powered movement through and through.

It proves we have the strength, the stamina, and the resolve to take on anything they throw our way.
