The Trump administration is planning to require tourists to show 5 years of their social media history before visiting the United States.

Trump wants to ban visitors from criticizing him. This is blatantly fascist, expensive to enforce, and will wreck tourism nationwide – a major problem for New Jersey as we prepare for the World Cup.

We pride ourselves on our first amendment rights in this country. Policing speech at the border is anti-American, plain and simple. We cannot normalize policies like this one that punish dissent, tank our economy, and embarrass America on the world stage.

I’ll keep fighting Trump’s authoritarianism in Congress, but we have to flip the House to restore a real check on his power. And we can’t do that without holding NJ-03.
