As you prepare for holiday travel, it’s worth remembering one of the biggest wins for public health: smokefree skies.
Because of relentless advocacy, smoking on domestic flights is now unthinkable. And that’s just one of the many milestones you’ve helped make possible. For more than 120 years, the American Lung Association has worked to end the tobacco epidemic through wins like giving the Food and Drug Administration authority to oversee tobacco products and raising the national age of sale to 21.
