Since taking office in 2022, we’ve been laser-focused on building a better Los Angeles for generations to come. And now, from San Pedro to Sylmar, Angelenos across this incredible city we call home are seeing the results of that hard work.

For the first time in our city’s history, homelessness has gone down two years in a row. That progress is the result of tough decisions, coordinated action, and an unshakable focus on getting people the housing and services they need. And we are building on that momentum every single day.

Violent crime and homicides are decreasing. Small businesses are getting the support they need to grow. We’re expanding public transit to connect more neighborhoods, ease traffic, and reduce emissions. And we’re preparing to welcome the world to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic Games, showing what’s possible when a city invests in its future.

When Donald Trump sent ICE agents into our communities, we stood strong against his authoritarianism. I made it clear: we will not be intimidated, and we will not be divided.

You elected me to lead this city, and I don’t take that trust for granted. It’s a responsibility I carry with deep gratitude. Every day, I see the resilience, hope, and determination of Angelenos, and it inspires me to keep showing up and fighting for this city.
