Dear John,
As we head into 2026, I’ve been reflecting on the real challenges, and the real opportunities, ahead of us.
I recorded this short message to share what’s at stake and why ELPC’s work is more important than ever:

The aggressive federal rollbacks of core environmental safeguards are serious threats to the Great Lakes, clean air, clean water, and the Midwest communities we work every day to protect.
But this moment isn’t only about challenges. Across the Midwest, we’re also seeing promising progress in state legislatures, in the courts, and in local communities that are ready to lead.
ELPC is not watching from the sidelines. We’re stepping up with strong legal advocacy, smart policy solutions, and a commitment to protecting the Midwest when it matters most.
I hope you’ll stand with us by donating today. [[link removed]]

Your support powers ELPC’s work to defend the environment, protect public health, and advance clean energy solutions across our region.
Thank you. We’re all in this together.
Sincerely,
