Friend, on January 1st, 2026, over 20 million Americans will see their healthcare premiums double on average under Trump and the GOP’s new budget for the Affordable Care Act.

We had an opportunity to stop that from happening this week in the Senate. I voted Yes to save Americans’ healthcare. Republicans voted No.

And thanks to those No votes, here’s what will happen when premiums skyrocket in a few weeks:

Some families will make the tough decision to shell out the cash, even if it means missing rent, skipping groceries, or delaying utility bills.

Many folks will decide the cost is just too high, and become uninsured. That means if they get sick or injured, they have to decide between either skipping the doctor or hospital, or going into extreme debt to get better.

If there was ever a clearer example of why we need to defeat the GOP in the midterms, this is it.

The Republicans’ billionaire-first agenda has real consequences. They don’t believe healthcare is a human right. They see our healthcare system as simply another way to scam the American people and line the pockets of their donors.
