John,
House Republicans just moved to gut the Clean Air Act.
In the Energy and Commerce Committee this week, they pushed forward bills that would weaken the law that protects the air we breathe. The Clean Air Act has saved lives, reduced asthma, and forced polluters to clean up their acts. Now Republicans are trying to tear it apart.
We need your help to fight back. Will you chip in to help our SEEC Members defend clean air protections for generations? [[link removed]]

Our SEEC Members are pushing back. SEEC Co-Chair Rep. Paul Tonko (NY-20), the top Democrat on the Environment Subcommittee, is calling out these attacks. He knows the Clean Air Act is one of the most important public health laws we have, and gutting it will put families, seniors, and children in danger.
But we need the resources to keep up this fight. Can you chip in today to help SEEC protect our clean air and hold polluters accountable? [[link removed]]

Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
