I found out yesterday that Senator Mike Rounds voted against extending Affordable Care Act premium tax credits.

Right before the holidays, when South Dakota families are already struggling with inflation, Rounds voted to make healthcare unaffordable for millions of Americans.

This is appalling, but it confirms the truth that for 32 years, Rounds has taken his orders from corporate lobbyists, not from the people who worry about medical bills at their kitchen table. He’s willing to sacrifice your health for a partisan vote.

This is why I am running. Washington has spent a decade using healthcare as a political football, and it’s time to stop the games.

That’s why today, I am officially launching my own healthcare proposal—a plan focused on Choice, Affordability, and Common Sense. It builds on what already works, fixes what doesn't, and protects you from the political chaos.
