When we log into our ActBlue account, this is one of the first numbers we see:
$18.47 is our average online contribution for the year so far. Alexandria and our whole team is so proud of that number because this campaign is powered by everyday people and by workers.
Thousands of $18 donations have allowed us to:
- Distribute over 1,700 turkeys to families in The Bronx and Queens last month,
- Provide more than 3,000 backpacks to kids in New York City as they headed back to school,
- Pay our organizers and staff a living wage,
- Keep Alexandria on the road this year, bringing a message to fight the oligarchy to red, blue, and purple districts across the country.
