I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all of the kind birthday wishes yesterday!

This weekend, my family and I got into the RV and headed to Fairbanks, where I had a great time at the innovative Golden Days Parade, where the attendees drove around the floats, in Fairbanks. Special shout out to Fairbanks superstar Judy who brought her Model T to the fairgrounds in the early morning, stayed on another four hours greeting each family who drove by with me! We had a great time seeing hundreds of voters!

Family time is so precious and hard to come by when you’re busy on the campaign trail. I’m grateful to my kids and husband Pat, for making today special.

This week marked one year since we launched this campaign for change, and I’m in awe of what we have built together since then. This grassroots movement is the strongest Alaska has ever seen.

I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
