John,

These past four months in a global pandemic have laid bare what we all
knew: our country is rooted in white supremacy that fuels an unjust
economic and political system.

Millions of people across our country have lost their jobs, have not
received proper PPE as essential workers, are not able to pay rent or
student loans, and are struggling to find an equitable way forward.

Tomorrow, on Monday, July 20th, we’re joining SEIU and hundreds of
organizations for the #StrikeforBlackLives Day of Action. Black
communities are disproportionately impacted by fossil fuels, police
violence, and COVID-19. Until Black people can thrive, none of our
communities can thrive.

[ [link removed] ] John, will you join a strike,
walkout, or worker action near you tomorrow to demand racial and economic
justice?

There are four key demands for tomorrow’s Strike for Black lives:

 1. Justice for Black communities, with an unequivocal declaration that
Black Lives Matter, is a necessary first step to winning justice for
all workers. To win higher wages, better jobs, and Unions for All, we
must ensure that Black workers can build economic power.
 2. Elected officials and candidates at every level use their executive,
legislative, and regulatory authority to begin to rewrite the rules
and reimagine our economy and democracy so that Black communities can
thrive.
 3. Corporations take immediate action to dismantle racism, white
supremacy, and economic exploitation wherever it exists, including in
our workplaces.
 4. Every worker has the opportunity to form a union, no matter where they
work.

This moment of crisis has created new opportunities for connection, for
building the path forward together, and declaring that we will not return
to “normal.” [ [link removed] ]Join an action tomorrow and fight with us for a more just
and equitable future.

Take Action →[ [link removed] ]If you can’t join an action, take the 8:46 pledge in honor of
George Floyd. You can kneel, take silence, or walk out from your place of work.

In solidarity,

350 Team
