Team,

Social Security is a promise that if you work hard and pay into this fund over the span of your career, you have earned the benefit of retiring with dignity. And that is a promise that our leaders in Congress must keep.

But two days ago the Social Security Administration’s Chief Actuary testified that the Social Security fund could be completely depleted sooner than expected.

Politics should never come before our hardworking older Americans who rely on Social Security and Medicare for their retirement. So team, I need you to stand with me today and demand Washington works together to solve this problem:

Add your name to our petition today if you agree that Congress must protect Social Security once and for all.

During my time in Congress working on the behalf of Upstate New Yorkers, I’ve made protecting our older Americans who depend on Medicare and Social Security a top priority -- especially during this public health crisis. The same can’t be said about everyone in Washington.

The current administration would rather leave our seniors out on their own in order to fund tax cuts to wealthy corporations. While special interests got richer, this president proposed multiple budgets that would slash Social Security by BILLIONS.

Social Security is a critical source of income for our seniors, and we cannot allow these threats to go unanswered. With Social Security on the verge of exhaustion, I need you to lend your voice to this fight today.
