None of this will be easy. As I wrote in The Atlantic this week, there’s a long history of efforts to limit voting rights and push back against fair representation. That’s why change this big requires all of us.
Together, we can do this. We can end gerrymandering. We can create a nation where every district is a swing district. Where all of us feel represented, everywhere, whether Democrats in Tennessee, Republicans in New England, or voters of color nationwide. We can capitalize on this tremendous desire for change.
