This is free. You do not need to pay. Substack has paid subscription options, but we are not doing that. You should not be blocked from any content because you are a free subscriber rather than paid. BUT, if you do hit a paywall, and are blocked from content, discussion, whatever, let us know, and we’ll make sure we haven’t missed anything on the back end to disable that.
