Thank you for the incredible generosity you show as a CHLA supporter. At a time when children's hospitals everywhere are facing challenges, your support helps us uphold the highest standards of care and compassion-delivering hope, healing, and healthier futures for the young patients and families who rely on us.

Earlier this fall, U.S. News & World Report released its 2025-26 Best Children's Hospitals rankings, and for the 17th year in a row, CHLA was recognized in the publication's prestigious Honor Roll of the nation's top 10 pediatric institutions. CHLA is considered tied for the Best in the U.S., and is top ranked in both California and the Pacific region.

What's more, CHLA is the only safety-net hospital listed among the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the nation. Nearly 75% of CHLA's patients are insured by Medicaid. I'm extraordinarily proud that we're able to offer the very best care to every child who comes to us, and your support has played a crucial role in that achievement.

In the last year, thanks to compassionate people like you, our teams oversaw:

* 747,224 patient visits
* 99,642 Emergency Department visits
* 16,819 surgeries
* 597 active clinical trials

Behind every single one of these numbers is a child-a baby taking their first breath after a complicated surgery, a teen receiving a new treatment that didn't exist five years ago, a toddler finally going home with their family after weeks in intensive care. And woven through all of it is the generosity of this community.

As the year comes to an end, I hope you feel immense pride in what you've helped make possible for so many children at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
