John,

The Supreme Court recently handed down a devastating decision: Texas must
use Trump and Greg Abbott’s gerrymandered maps—maps designed to steal five
Democratic House seats. This isn’t just politics as usual. This is an
attempt to rig our elections, silence communities, and cement power for
the few at the expense of the many.

The implications are enormous. Competitive districts that should reflect
the will of the people are being drawn to favor one party. Entire
communities could see their voices diminished. And progress on health
care, education, and voting rights could be blocked for years.

But maps don’t vote. People vote. And we’re not sitting back. Powered by
People is doubling down. We’re on the ground in every part of Texas,
registering voters, recruiting and training volunteers, and organizing
communities to turn out in numbers that no rigged map can suppress.

It’s going to take hard work and persistence—but it can be done. Texans
have overcome unfair systems before, and we will do it again with so much
on the line.

these rigged maps, empower voters, and build a winning infrastructure
across Texas? Together, we can make sure every voice is heard and every
vote counts.
