It makes us proud to see a lawmaker of color holding high-ranking criminals accountable -- under this president, it’s been a rare sight. And her fierce condemnation of Trump’s pardon puts her on the same page as the Biden campaign -- who similarly denounced the move as an abuse of power.
While speculation over Senator Harris’s potential spot on the Democratic ticket is still ongoing, we’re just glad that vulnerable Americans now know they have a champion in Congress.
