Here’s what we’re excited about as we head into the next year:

  • Our campaign supporting warehouse workers at Amazon is taking on new life as we expand to new cities and build communities of workers. We’ve already set a precedent in New York City, showing that when you give workers a real voice to confront power, you win. 

 

  • We are confronting the corporations propping up the authoritarianism regime, including Avelo Airlines which has contracted with the federal government to operate thousands of deportation flights.

 

  • We are supporting our local JWJ coalitions around the country to be Strike Ready - to support workers and each other wherever and whenever they may need it - in the workplace, at the bargaining table, or in the streets showing noncooperation with authoritarianism. We know withholding labor and creating economic disruption is a key means to power, and we plan to show it in the coming years.

 

  • We are gearing up for our first National Conference in a decade: Workers Reviving Democracy, which will take place from May 14-16, 2026 in Atlanta. This won’t be a normal conference. It will be a full-on festival of worker power: storytelling that lifts up frontline leadership, performances that ground us in joy and community, bold direct action, and strategy sessions to push our movement ahead.
