I will get straight to the point:

This month, we close the books on the last FEC fundraising deadline of the year.

When this deadline ends, I am legally required to report how much money I raised and how many donations I received in 2025.

Everyone will be watching: Donald Trump, national Republicans, the press.

I’ve been in elected office long enough to know that they are looking to see how much public support has grown for my work and for Democrats in the year since the election, and these numbers are a huge part of that.

2025 has been quite the year. There has been so much destruction caused by this administration that will require some serious work to repair.

And do not forget — 2026 is right around the corner. These midterm elections are so important. If we are going to see a shift in our country, we must build our momentum right now.

If we file a large report with many donations, Republicans will know that the health care cuts and price hikes they orchestrated in 2025 are not a winning strategy for the midterms, and that they will face tough opposition to retaining their majority in 2026.

If we file a weak report, then the Trump Administration and the GOP will see that there is no pushback to their extreme and dangerous agenda.

So this is a moment where leadership from the ground matters more than ever.
