I reject this false choice. And I hope you do too. I have become radicalized for our rural communities. I care deeply about what happens to farmers and ranchers in this country—the people who work the land make up the backbone of my district, we all rely on their work to survive. Food isn’t optional! Donald Trump is destroying American agriculture. He is killing family farms and farming communities, decimating small towns, and ruining rural America with economic policies that only benefit billionaires and Big Ag. Working people are not looking for handouts. They are looking for leaders who will tell the truth, recognize what is happening in this country that puts the American Dream out of reach for millions of us, and then DO SOMETHING about it. So that’s why I share my constituents’ outrage and insult about Trump’s pathetic “bailout” for Big Ag. Trump’s policies are driving bankruptcy and despair. The depth of the rage, sadness, and betrayal so many are feeling in my district is awful, and it is motivating a shift.  Trump only gets away with this because he owns and controls Republicans in Congress. And Trump’s Enabler-In-Chief is my opponent, carpetbagger Lauren Boebert, who has wrecked my district in only 11 short months in office. Maybe if she were from here she’d care more about us. I am building a massive grassroots machine that will get rid of Boebert for good. And I need you with me to get this done, for all of us. Boebert is only in Congress because of a 546 vote margin. In 2024, as her Democratic opponent, I had the best performance a Democrat has ever had in my district, overperforming Kamala Harris by 6 pts as Boebert underperformed Trump in every single county.
