This is a plea to every American to take action to save our democracy before it is too late.
Donald Trump is strongarming the Republican Party into rigging dozens of House districts ahead of the Midterm election.
And he is taunting Democrats, daring us to take off the gloves and try to stop him. But so far, only California under Gov. Gavin Newsom’s leadership has punched back.
We’re getting pummeled. And we’re running out of time to fight back against Trump’s fascism, cheating, and corruption.
We have to do more. The Democratic Party is getting into the ring with MAGA with one arm tied behind their backs, donning 12 oz padded gloves, and crying foul to the referees when Trump lands painful low blows.
If we don’t dig deep and commit to this fight, we will be knocked unconscious or even killed in the ring. The referees aren’t going to save us: Trump already bought most of them off.
That’s why Fair Fight Colorado is leading the charge for a ballot initiative that will let Colorado voters approve a new congressional map to counter MAGA’s gerrymandering and election rigging.
Trump is fighting dirty, and we need to use every tool and lever at our disposal to fight back effectively. Democracy and freedom are too important to pat ourselves on the back for going high when they go low.
