ICYMI: A Very Personal Note
I was with other faith leaders on the White House grounds yesterday, and a remarkable thing happened that I just had to tell you about.
As we were waiting to talk to some high-level administration officials, one of my colleagues was moved to start singing the hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness. There were a lot of tears.
All of us believe, including the president, that God’s hand has been on us and him—most notably when his life was saved in Butler, Pennsylvania.
None of us know the future, but we know the battle rages on. And I am not leaving the battlefield until God calls me home.
Could you and your family pray about the battle for our country and the hearts and minds of our children and grandchildren today?
