Skagit County Extends Closure of Non-Essential Services to December 12, 2025 Due to Flooding
Due to continued flooding and hazardous conditions across the region, *Skagit County will extend the closure of all non-essential government services, including District Court and Superior Court services, through* *Friday, December 12, 2025*. This extension is necessary to protect the safety of our employees and residents, and to support emergency response teams as they continue critical operations.
County officials remain in close coordination with local and state agencies to monitor conditions and respond to the ongoing impacts of the flood.
Essential services, including emergency management, public safety, and road maintenance, will remain operational.
Residents are urged to:
* Avoid unnecessary travel
* Stay informed through official channels
* Follow any evacuation or safety advisories issued by local authorities
Updates will continue to be posted on the Skagit County website and shared via our social media platforms.
