Suquamish Way NE and Augusta Ave NE will be closed tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 12, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Division Ave NE and NE Geneva St due to construction on the Suquamish Regional Stormwater Facility. Detour via NE Geneva St and Division Ave NE.
The contractor for the Suquamish Regional Stormwater Facility is installing (2) large vaults that impact the northbound lanes of Suquamish Way and Augusta Ave. The crane company will install the vaults so that large excavations do not remain in-place over the weekend and the forecasted continuance of inclement weather. The crane to provide this work will require a full road closure with one lane alternating traffic being restored once the crane is demobilized.
Public Works will work diligently with the contractor and crane company to shrink this road closure window if at all possible.
