His attacks on the ACA were attempts to:

When the pandemic struck, lo and behold, suddenly Sen. Cornyn changed his tune. He even said it’s a “good thing” that Texans can receive coverage under the ACA -- as if we were going to forget how many times he tried to undo that coverage.
But if he truly believed his own words, he’d stand up to his political allies who are STILL trying to convince the Supreme Court to strike down the entire ACA.
