John,
A new dark-money group just elbowed their way into our race. In a democracy where the people choose, billionaires and corporations are doing everything they can to get their way.
They think they can play St. Louis like we won’t notice what’s really going on, but they are mistaken.
Can you chip in $10 right now to make sure we have the resources to push back? [[link removed]]
This group calls itself the National Black Empowerment Action Fund. But here’s the truth:
There is nothing empowering about a group run by operatives who have spent decades on AIPAC’s payroll. It’s the same people who have tried again and again to silence voices like mine.
Now they’re pouring money into this race to take control away from the people.
They’re not here to “empower” voters. They’re here to manipulate our community and buy this seat for the same right-wing interests that have been attacking our progressive movement from day one.
Just look at the billboard they put up in St. Louis this week:

This is the playbook:
1. Put a friendly face on a dark-money operation.
2. Pretend to speak for our community.
3. Use Republican megadonor cash to influence a Democratic primary.
They did it last election. AIPAC spent over $9 million attacking our movement and backing my opponent. Now they’re gearing up to do it again, with new front groups who won’t have our backs.
But our community is smarter than they think. St. Louis knows who stands with the people and who stands with Republican megadonors, anti-labor billionaires, and the far-right forces funding these groups.
John, this is exactly why we need a strong, people-powered response today [[link removed]] .
If we don’t answer this attack now, they will define the conversation before we can even speak.
Will you rush a $10, $25, or $50 donation to help us push back against AIPAC’s dark-money groups and protect this seat for the people of St. Louis? [[link removed]]

This race has never been about me. It’s about who gets to decide the future of St. Louis: the people, or the Republican megadonors who think they can buy our district’s voice.
Let’s show them our community cannot be bought.
In solidarity,
Cori Bush
